A Little Surprise [For doesntdosheep]

CeCe hadn't been feeling too hot and she wasn't sure if a human body was meant to feel like that. She was feeling tired quite a bit, on top of that the nausea wasn't helping either. It was kind of confusing. Walking into Jim's quarters, she canted her head a bit just watching him. Moving over she slips into bed with him, laying down beside him.

She's a bit restless.

"I'm going to have to look that stuff up." She says making a slight face. "I don't know anything about it, Jim. I know about space and the inner workings of this ship. Because it's me. I don't know anything about being a mother."

He placed a hand on her stomach and gave her a small smile. "We'll figure this out together, CeCe. I promise," he quietly said.

"Promise?" She whispers though she cants her head a bit. "You're not mad about this?" After all, him and Bones had been getting growly.

"I promise, CeCe. And, no, I'm not mad. Just a little surprised," Jim whispered before softly kissing her. "You're still my girl and always will be."

She kisses him back, giving a small smile. "Always, Jim?" She liked the sound of that.

He smiled and nodded. "Always, CeCe," he whispered. "How about we go to bed."

She snuggles against him, giving a nod, kissing him softly. "I'd like that, Jim." Bed sounded real good right then.

Jim tightened his grip on her and stood with her in his arms. He walked them to their bedroom, where he helped her into her night clothes. Once he had stripped off his own clothes, he got into the bed with her and held her close. "Love you, CeCe," he whispered.

She pressed against him once they were in bed, nuzzling his throat. "Love you too, Jim."

"How about we get some sleep? We can talk more in the morning," he said.

She gives a slight nod, snuggling into him a bit more. "If that's what you want." She's good with whatever they do.
